Difference Keyword and Metatag

What is difference between keyword and metatag and anchor tag ?
Can you probably give a quick guide on traffic generation.. What are steps need to be done ?

There are two main meta tags... meta keyword tags and meta description.

They're both special HTML tags that provide information about a Web page. The meta tags are usually placed in between the and tags of your document. Similar to this:

<HEAD>

<TITLE>your DESCRIPTIVE KEYWORDS title goes here</TITLE>

<META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="Your keyword rich marketing sales-pitch meta description goes here">

<META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="your keywords,go here,separated by a comma,but not a space">

</HEAD>

You should put descriptive keywords in your meta keywords tag that are words you're trying to optimize for. Though meta tags are as powerful as they used to be, it wouldn't hurt you to add the meta tags there. Just DO NOT abuse it by using tons of repetitive keywords or you it WILL hurt you.

An anchor tag is just a tag that allows you to create a "marker" down on your webpage so that if the visitor clicks on that link, they'll be taken to another point on the page. For example... if I give you the link , you'll notice that there are anchor tags on this page... for instance, will take you down to the first question on the site where I have added an anchor tag. This isn't important in regards to search engine optimization and traffic.
